Ladies Tarpon Tournament {Marathon, FL Photographer}
This year brought back the annual Ladies Invitational Tarpon Tournament and what a success it was! I was able to capture the awards after the final morning of fishing.
Pictured below are 1st place winners, the tournament committee and a large group shot at Faro Blanco. To check out more photos or for more info on the tournament, visit the Ladies Invitational Tarpon Tournament.

Best of Marathon {Marathon, FL Photographer}
I was honored to be selected as one of the 3 finalists for the “2014 Best of Marathon,” and was very happy to receive the “Best Photographer” award at last night’s presentation. During the past 9 years of photographing in the Keys, I have discovered how rewarding, fulfilling, and fun it is to capture those special moments. From behind the camera I’ve witnessed newlyweds exchange vows, met and photographed newborns, and enjoyed growing families. I appreciate those of you who took the time to vote for me. Thank you, Marathon, for allowing me to capture your special times!

Jake {Florida Keys Senior Photographer}
Senior sessions can be so much fun. This one sure was! When taking senior shots, I like to try to capture as much of their personality as possible while also summarizing this chapter of their life. Jake is on the tennis team at school, but when he’s not on the court, he’s in the water spearfishing.

Marathon Acupuncture {Marathon Photographer}
Angela at Marathon Acupuncture contacted me about taking some business photos for her website. What a fun experience to be able to watch her at work.

J & C {Florida Keys Maternity Photographer}
When these two asked if I’d be up for a maternity session on the beach, I knew exactly where to head. We did this session at Sombrero Beach in Marathon, just before sunset. It’s such a great time of year for photos because we don’t have the heat of summer quite yet and the wind seems to keep us just cool enough without messing up hair!

Finn {Florida Keys Newborn Photographer}
When mom is a part time party planner, you can bet she’s going to come prepared with some fantastic newborn ideas. I photographed this little guy’s baby sister a few years ago and they turned out great, so I’ve been looking forward to these for a while now. He didn’t disappoint, did he? I absolutely love the way the photos with dad and the kids turned out.

Miss P {Florida Keys Newborn Photographer}
I’ve been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Miss. P because I haven’t had a little girl newborn in a while (lots of little boys). I’ve known P’s mom and dad for years so I knew they’d be up for anything I wanted to try. P’s daddy is a pilot so we were able to throw in some airplane themed shots with some props mommy brought. Isn’t she adorable in the shots below? Mommy also didn’t want too much pink so we stuck to the more gender neutral colors. I love the shots we got and can’t wait to watch Miss P grow up.

Taylor – {FL Keys Senior Photographer}
This session was a bit sentimental for me since I babysat Taylor when she was a baby. She was super cooperative and up for anything when it came time to start shooting. We got a few of her in several different settings with different props including the one below with Taylor and soccer ball. Everyone is so proud of Taylor who will be attending Duke University next Fall.

Sutton is 1 {Florida Keys Children’s Photographer}
Yeah! Sutton is 1. For her birthday pictures, we put her in her birthday dress and got some shots then did a little cake smash. I love the cake smash sessions. It’s fun to see how differently the kids react to the mess or the sugar. Some of them are so excited by the taste that they really get into it. Others can’t get over the idea of being dirty. Sutton was ok with the mess and didn’t seem bothered or overly excited by the sugar . She loved the necklace though!
